Client: Mallya Hospital - Bangalore
Mallya Hospital required 30,000 litres of hot water per day at 55°C.
The system needed to supply hot water for 220 patient beds in: suites, twin share rooms, deluxe rooms and male & female wards.
Solution
Energen Consultants Shriya Engineers Bangalore proposed and installed a new generation indirect type heating solar hybrid hot water system including:
- 3x 3000 litre vitreous enamelled twin coil hot water storage tanks
- 64x EHS P Solar collectors
- 2x Solar pump stations (1 Working and 1 Standby)
- Solar controller
- 2x 24 litre expansion tanks (solar circuit)
- 3x 84kW output High temperature heat pumps (2 Working and 1 Standby)
- 3x Heat pump circulation pumps, 3 Nos
- 3x 24 litre expansion tanks (heat pump circuit)
- 2x Circulation pumps
- Timer/temperature control panel
- Plumbing, Installation and Commissioning
Client: JMP Health Care - Bangalore
JMP Health Care required 4000 litres of hot water per day at 55°C.
The system needed to supply hot water for 50 patient beds in Wards, OT and Nursing Stations.
Solution
Energen Hybrid Systems with Architect: Shashi Kiran Architects proposed and installed a new generation indirect type heating solar hybrid hot water systemincluding:
- 2000 litre glass enamel twin coil tank
- 8x EHS P Collectors (2 sq mt)
- Standard solar circulation pump (1 working) with solar controller
- 7.5kW heat pump with inbuilt circulation pump
- 2x 24 litres expansion tank (solar +heat pump circuit)
- Return line circulation pump
- Timer/temperature panel
